God showed up in a very forceful way in 2008. Vijoya Chappelear is a wonderful speaker.  Friday night as she was speaking, she moved across the stage, making eye contact with her listeners.  Several times during this presentation, she stopped, took a deep breath, leaned toward her listeners, and in a loud voice, issuing from her slight frame, came the words, YOU  CAN  Make   IT!!!       At the end of the conference Saturday, there were decisions for Christ, rededications, many comments on the presence of the Holy Spirit in the room, women with tears, hugging each other, showing concern and caring Christian fellowship.  One woman, who accepted Christ, handed Vijoya the suicide note that she planned to leave behind the previous night.       The evaluations were very positive.  Just a couple of comments follow:                "This weekend has been the best for me and my best friend, very inspirational.  Thank you, guys, very much."                "The conference was a retreat for me.  I had no intention of going but God had other plans. I am so glad I attended.  It was life changing for me."               God definitely was a part of the 2008 conference!
