Knowing God is the most important thing in life.  If that is established, everything else falls into place.

Looking inward:  Nourishing your Heart
Just as the quality of the soil affects the crop, so the condition of our hearts affects our behavior and actions.  Using the parable of the soils, Sue will share practical ways for us to become “good soil” people.

Sue has been a speaker at various women’s events for the past ten years.  She teaches pre-school part time and is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies at Multnomah University.  She and her husband live in suburban Portland and have five “almost grown” children.

Glenda Merrill

Triumph over Despair
Glenda will share the amazing story of how God’s healing grace, redemption and restoration brought her from utter hopelessness to a place of victory!  She will also discuss cardboard testimonies and allow for audience participation in this powerful “silent” technique.

Glenda has represented the United States in world archery tournaments, winning three gold, three silver and two bronze medals as well as establishing a number of women’s world records.  She attends Westside Church in Bend and is the mother of two children.
